Hosted by Auburn University's Dean June Hinton, this session convened leaders from Sesame Workshop, the One Love Foundation, Born This Way Foundation, Call to Men, and California Surgeon General Dr. Nadine Burke Harris to address youth resilience through evidence-based interventions. Presenters detailed strategies ranging from media content that teaches emotional regulation and healthy relationship skills to medical protocols that screen for Adverse Childhood Experiences and mandate stable adult bonding to mitigate chronic stress. Collectively, the organizations highlighted data-driven successes in reducing stigma, preventing violence, and improving long-term health outcomes by empowering young people and their caregivers with practical tools and systemic support.
