Gina Ortiz Jones, Vanya

Under Secretary Gina Ortiz-Jones outlined the Department of the Air Force's strategic shift toward integrated deterrence and sixth-generation space dominance to counter the pacing threat of China while sustaining critical security assistance to Ukraine. Simultaneously, the leadership is enforcing rigorous data-driven policy reforms to dismantle systemic biases identified in promotion pipelines and address barriers facing women of color and Asian men. These operational and personnel changes are driven by Ortiz-Jones's personal commitment to inclusive growth, aiming to modernize the force and ensure sustained talent retention through both combat readiness and equitable access.
