Despite projections that full technological readiness requires decades of testing, stakeholders anticipate a convergence of shared, connected, and autonomous services that could displace traditional vehicle ownership and create new economic models across developing markets. While safety protocols continue to evolve through extensive data collection and multimodal integration, experts warn that significant workforce displacement in the transportation sector will necessitate proactive adaptation in infrastructure and workforce development.
