The grand prize of $250,000 went to Every Cure for its AI-driven repurposing of drugs for rare diseases, while Thorn secured the runner-up position to combat AI-generated child exploitation. Judged by board members and senior partners, the competition highlighted a thematic shift where all 18 finalists utilized technology to address critical challenges in health, safety, housing, and climate emissions.
