Founded by the Duke of York in 2014, the Pitch at Palace initiative bridges the critical funding gap between angel investment and venture capital by providing global entrepreneurs with business process engineering and strategic mentorship rather than just capital. The program has successfully accelerated 42 selected startups across diverse sectors, producing high-impact alumni such as Twitter-acquired Magic Pony and the STEM toy maker Sam Labs, while securing royal validation from Queen Elizabeth II. With a track record of generating significant economic activity and a strategic roadmap to expand operations to seven additional regions by 2017, the initiative aims to foster scalable enterprise by replacing legacy Silicon Valley models with a 1,000-year global perspective.
